This is a special MMO - LOVE. It was just developed by one man - Eskil Steenberg. LOVE is questioned about the game quality recently. Now we have a chance to know whether it is a trash or a pearl. LOVE now announced beta test application. Players can download the client here. If the client runs well on your machine you can now buy a voucher that will let you create a Beta account. The voucher costs 3 Aion kinah Euro and will give you 30 days of access to the game servers. The Voucher will be mailed to you within hours.

Love is still under development, and has only been tested with very few players. I will work to the best of my ability to address any problem that may occur, but there is no guarantee that the game will work as more players are added, or that any problem that may occur is even fixable. The amount of testing that can be done by a single developer of a multi player game is obviously very limited, so expect performance, and gameplay to be largely untested.

In order to access the Beta you will need to donate 3 Euros, that will be used to pay for servers and bandwidth. If I didn't require testers to donate, I would only be able to take in very few testers. By taking donations, I can give more people the OPTION to test the game.

Given the very limited development resources (A single developer) you should not expect the level of polish, amount of content or level of service of a large commercial game, even though I will try to do everything i can for my testers.

There is no saying that the Beta is in any way representative of the final game, as it may differ substantially as gameplay is tweaked and even rewritten from scratch. The good part is that you can be a part of it by giving feedback buy your aion gold now and comming with suggestions. While you obviously are free to say and write what ever you want (There is no NDA(Non Disclosiure Agreement) needed for this Beta), this game should not be reviewed based on this Beta.

I strongly encurrage you to download the client and test it BEFORE buying an access code. Given that you may find yourself in situations with many characters on screen, in more complex environments, once you enter the game, the performance of may not live up to the frame rate of the menu. If the client is running poorly you may want to try switchiong to the "Low-End Mode".
